This night was a very exciting and enticing night for me. I have known Clementine, the opening band, for a bit now. I was especially eager to see Clementine open for Bilmuri. Clementine is from Rockford, IL and they’re a Grunge/Emo/Punk band. I have seen this band in their hometown and it was a very energetic and enticing show. When they entered the room at Turner Hall Ballroom, they all smiled at the crowd before them. Then they immediately formed a circle around the drummer. Their instruments grew louder as they looked at one another smiling. I believe the goal was to hype up the crowd and that is exactly what they did.
Everyone in the atmosphere, including me, was ready for Bilmuri to walk the stage. The amazing Gabi Rose came out holding her saxophone while wearing a goblin mask. She was full of energy and endless talent. The lead singer, Johnny Frank, was also a delight to see live. He was full of energy and crazy talent as well. The entire band shared amazing chemistry throughout the night. The crowd was also very involved in the amusing energy in the room that night. There was an intense mosh pit the entire show. Everyone in and around the mosh pit were very friendly and respectful of each other. The vibes overall that night were immaculate.
