This night was very unexpected, but exciting. I went into the venue eager to capture a well anticipated show. I have listened to David Kushner for awhile now and I was looking forward to shooting one of his shows. His first album, The Dichotomy, was released earlier this year, in August. The album is full of memorable tracks; my favorite song being Skin and Bones.

The opener’s name is ROSIE, and although I had never heard of her before, I was very excited to see her perform. I also met very sweet fans while waiting for her to start her show. When she took the stage, an adorable smile was painted across her face. Her voice was angelic and the energy she radiated was contagious. You could feel it through out the venue. She welcomed the crowd by waving to everyone and greeting them all with her huge smile. The atmosphere was perfectly set for David Kushner to perform.

As the lights dimmed and he walked onto the stage, the crowd’s anticipation grew. The stage was set with low lighting which created a bit of mystery. Then, the lights came up, and the crowd broke into cheers of excitement. David Kushner was dressed in a leather jacket and jeans. He opened his mouth to sing and his deep voice carried throughout the room. But he wasn’t alone onstage; he was surrounded. His is voice was accompanied by his talented band behind him and his passionate fans lay in front of him. The performance with filled with amazing energy and passionate lyrics.
