Death Cab for Cutie performed a perfectly beautiful one and a half hour set on December 2nd in Chicago, IL. Aragon Ballroom already creates quite the mood with their ceiling painted like the night sky. Death Cab added to that mood with the stage long screen lit with colorful images behind them. I have a special place in my heart for piano so when frontman Ben Gibbard began playing the first few notes of “What Sarah Said,” my friend reached back and embraced me and we swayed and happily sang along. The set list was the perfect blend of old and new songs, the classic radio hits included. Check out the some photos below.
