The story, one of forbidden love, begins 59 years ago at a club called The Angel. The love interest is an angel-faced gal named Evangeline whose boyfriend is a mob boss. The main character is a fictionalized version of Stephen Sanchez, Troubadour Sanchez. Troubadour and Evangeline spark a secrete romance and continue to tell their story through music. This story is told in Stephen Sanchez’s new concept album called Angel Face. The album is full of groovy tunes and nostalgic melodies. The young artist does a fantastic job capturing the art of the ’60s.

The night began with a very energetic opener named The Brook and The Bluff. They have been very memorable through their ecstatic live performances. With knowing this information, I was very excited to see them perform. A man in a suit guided the audience throughout the night. The nicely dressed man first introduced The Brook and The Bluff. I immediately observed that this band loved what they did. From the dancing to the smiles they displayed, the band put on an amazing performance.

The talk show host entered the room and everyone knew what was coming. The two sat down through out Sanchez’s performance and cracked jokes to each other. He was busting out admirable dance moves and entertaining the audience with his witty personality. He interacted with every corner of the audience, making his way to the back of the crowd as well. His voice carried beautifully throughout the entire venue. I was smiling the entire time I captured his performance. Listen to his new album Angel Face and discover what Stephen Sanchez has to offer!
