One Band, 5 Songs: Liz Phair

Emerging from the Chicago, IL Indie Rock scene of the early 1990s, Liz Phair made waves with her brilliant 1993 debut, one of the best and most acclaimed albums of the decade, Exile in Guyville. In the nearly three decades since, Phair has released a total of seven full-length records including 2003’s self-titled crossover album which produced the Top 40 hit “Why Can’t I?” Her latest album, Soberish, was released in 2021.
