Kendra Sheetz Today, the long-awaited documentary Don’t Fall in Love with Yourself, about Justin Pearson (The Locust, Dead Cross, Deaf Club), Three One G Records, and the San Diego punk scene is finally streaming VOD.
Justin Pearson is a mainstay character in the world of west coast punk, noise and experimental music. The documentary explores his life, ambition and personal tragedy, taking advantage of decades’ worth of VHS and MiniDV footage. The documentary also features interviews with members of Slayer, Touche Amore, Cattle Decapitation, and more.
The film is available for rental or purchase on Vimeo and VHX. It was was recently released on Blu-ray through Vinegar Syndrome and ETR Media, and features limited edition art from the acclaimed artist Steak MTN.
