Kendra Sheetz Long Island, NY’s Bitters and Distractions has released a brand new single entitled “A Protest Song.” The acoustic punk duo, consisting of Jeremy Quitko and Travis Johnides, decided to take a different direction for this song and plugged in the electric guitars and enlisted Travis’ brother-in-law, Joe Manzione, to lay down drums for the track.
The song, at the title states, is a protest song, which begs for peace, love, and understanding during these times in which all are lacking. All money downloads and streams of the song, whether it be off iTunes, Spotify, or wherever you get your music these days, will go directly to Black Lives Matter.
