Broken Gold Premieres New Cover “On the Darkside”

We’re so excited to be premiering a new single from Broken Gold entitled “On the Darkside.” The song will be featured on Drunk Dial Records‘ Fakes Volume II. “What is Fakes Volume II?” you ask. Well it’s only compilation of current day bands doing covers of bands from TV shows and movies that don’t actually exist!

Keeping that in mind, we have Broken Gold covering Eddie and the Cruisers’ song “On the Darkside.” In an effort to avoid legal trouble from any fake bands’ real lawyers, all digital sales and cassette tape profits from the Fakes compilations are donated to charity. The bands participating in this sophomore volume unanimously voted to send funds to The Innocence Project, a non-profit organization that works to exonerate the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reform the criminal justice system to prevent future injustices.

Check out “On the Darkside” below and grab your copy of Fakes Volume II now before its release on June 2nd!
