Corre Diablo Premieres New Song “Our Name”

LA rocker foos, and my friends and old bandmates Corre Diablo are back with a new single, “Our Name,” set to be released on August 29th. The song displays the band’s signature sound of huge guitars, hard-hitting drums, tasty bass lines, catchy hooks, and all the same aggression and passion the band is known for.

The song was produced and engineered by Alex Estrada at his desert hideaway Pale Moon Ranch. “Our Name” features guest vocals from Arturo Barrios of Southern California punk vets Audio Karate. Frontman Xavier Delgado does what he does best and gives a very timely critique of the aggressive immigration policies and the experiences of immigrant families that result from them.

Corre Diablo have never shied away from tackling social issues and being very vocal for both themselves and those without the voices or platforms to express their disdain for the systematic oppression that minorities, immigrants, and children of immigrants have been forced to endure for decades. The band comes from Hispanic & Asian backgrounds, and are all Angelinos native to Los Angeles, a city that wouldn’t exist without immigrants.

For as long as I’ve known these guys, they’ve always been on the right side of things and have never been afraid of who they piss off or who doesn’t agree with them. They’re some of the most genuine, down dudes I know, and the LA music scene is lucky to have them. Really stoked for the new record and what the future has in store for these dudes.
