Dubbed Scotland’s most electrifying busking band, funk-rock trio High Fade has released their sophomore album, entitled Twice As Nice. Despite interest from major labels, the band chose to remain fully independent, launching and operating their own imprint, RPN Records (“Rippin’ Records”).
Recorded between East Iris Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and the legendary RAK Studios in St John’s Wood, London, Twice As Nice captures High Fade in a moment of expansion. While the band’s unmistakable funk-fuelled core remains intact, this record stretches far beyond familiar ground, digging into heavier textures, richer vocal arrangements, and new songwriting instincts. The album moves fluidly between bruising, high-impact tracks and deep-pocket funk, balancing grit with groove while revealing a broader emotional and musical range than ever before.
Twice As Nice follows their debut album Life’s Too Fast (2024), which charted across the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, and Australia. Stream the new album below and keep checking back for more from High Fade!
