Kendra Sheetz Toronto, ON’s Hotel Murder has released a new self-titled single that will be the first track off the band’s upcoming EP (released in 2020). The track, released last month on Halloween, is written about the infamous first American serial killer, H.H. Holmes and the hotel he built in Chicago in the 1800s.
The structure, later coined the Murder Castle, providing him with a place to kill his victims and opened its doors to tourists visiting the nearby World’s Fair in 1893. The space featured soundproof rooms, secret passages, and a disorienting maze of hallways and staircases.
