Boston’s Looking Glass War recently released a brand new single entitled “Rumination House.” The song is the second single off the band’s upcoming EP, Saints of the Lost and Found, which will be released late this fall.
Following their usual formula, bassist Mike Ackley and guitarist Pete Zeigler wrote the
bones of the song. The jangly guitar riff evokes 80’s British Indie Pop. Once the chords were established, Zeigler’s guitar riff “definitely had a strong Johnny Marr vibe” says Ackley. “Channeling this, the bass was definitely more of a departure from our usual driving post-punk style” he continued.
