Today, we’re premiering a brand new single from Atlanta, GA’s Seagulls. The song, entitled “Symphony for the Righteous Destruction of Humanity in E Major,” is the sophomore single from the band’s upcoming album, The Rapture and Resurgens.
The band had the following to say about the new release:
“We’ve all done terrible thing (some of us with greater frequency and/or severity than others) and our impending doom and suffering won’t be wholly undeserved. Symphony is loosely based on the Reasonabilist ideology put forth by the late Lou Prozotovich.”
The Rapture and Resurgens was mixed by Damoon Moon at Standard Electric Recorders and Jack Shirley mastered the album. The album art was done by Tom Lowell.
