Traindodge Signs to Spartan Records, Announces New Album ‘The Alley Parade’

Oklahoma City-based post hardcore outfit Traindodge recently signed with Spartan Records and has announced the release of a new album. The album, The Alley Parade, is the follow up to their 2016 LP Time Will Never Know Your Name and is scheduled for a September 22nd release.

The band was formed 27 years ago in Oklahoma City by singer/guitarist Jason Smith and his brother Rob on drums. Their influences range from bands such as Fugazi, Jawbox, The Jesus Lizard, and more. Music journalist Jason Heller has said of the band:

“Unlike the hordes of post-hardcore wannabes who think screams, noise and posing make the band, Traindodge synthesizes brainpower and horsepower into a contorted, rock-heavy wallop that’ll leave you scratching your head as much as banging it.”

The Alley Parade marks their 8th full length album. You can listen to the first single from the album, “Face Thieves,” below and pre-order the album on their Bandcamp site:
