Kendra Sheetz Last weekend, Chicago hardcore band Warrior Tribes uploaded a digital cover single to commemorate the anniversary of Ian Curtis’s death which occurred on May 18th. The first track is a cover of Joy Division’s “The Kill.” There is also a second track which is a cover of Chicago’s own The Effigies’ song “Mob Clash.”
