A Nobodies Achievement has released a brand new single and accompanying music video today for their song “Stay Scared.” The track includes influences from 80s pop music and modern hardcore, among other things. Thematically, it addresses the complicated nature of appreciating one’s self-worth. When vocalist Khoal Mcmillan found out he was going to be a father, he became unsure of the band’s future and how he would balance work, family and creative pursuits. The post-hardcore frontman penned “Stay Scared” during a time of self-evaluation, an attempt to accept yourself while not letting go of your dreams.
All of the music, video, album art, and promotional materials were entirely self-produced from our band’s space in Alberta, Canada. The release of “Stay Scared” marks that band’s second release for the year. Check out the new song now and keep checking back for more from A Nobodies Achievement!
