Kendra Sheetz Brooklyn noise-pop trio A Very Special Episode has released a brand new music video for their single “Neon Stars.” The song is the final single to be released in anticipation of the band’s upcoming sophomore album, Freak Me Out, which will be released on June 23rd via Hidden Home/EWEL Records. For the video, the band reunites with Jen Meller, who also shot and directed the “Heaven’s Gate” video.
Vocalist/bassist Kasey Heisler explains:
“’Neon Stars’ explores the feelings experienced when drifting off to sleep in front of the television, as depicted by Kristi Sun. The outside world’s sounds and lights bleed into the inner dream space and even after waking up you have the sense of bringing remnants of your REM fantasies into reality.”
