Adored Releases New Music Video For Eponymous Single

Photo: Lennon Nichols

Friday, October 16th saw upstart new-wave duo Adored debut a haunting music video for their eponymous single.

Drawing obvious influence from The Cure, Joan Of Arc, and most of all, 80s movie soundtracks, this is a major sonic departure for the Nichols brothers, both previously of Emo/Rock bands A Cold Trip Nowhere and Boys Home. While the latter band showed hints of wavy textures a la The Stone Roses, Adored dives head first into a nostalgic but oft neglected sound.

The video is a striking display of aesthetic redefinition of the Nichols brothers and a perfect introduction for them as a new band. Made entirely in house, Lennon captures imagery of love, martyrdom, and even blasphemy under brilliant lighting. What a mix for spooky season! Add it to your late night creeps playlists!

Keep this unique Kansas/Texas act on your radar as they plan to release a full project and more visuals within the coming months.
