Kendra Sheetz New York Pop-Punk quartet babygotbacktalk has released an official music video for their track “I Guess This Is Glowing Up,” a song off their latest EP release, Up in Open Arms. The video was directed by Sarah Alli.
The band released the following statement about their single:
“‘I Guess This Is Glowing Up’ is about deciding to kiss someone based on having just read a Susan Sontag essay called “Against Interpretation.” We made a video for it because it embodies all of the qualities we see as central to our band: soaring violin riffs, tastefully tap-happy guitar melodies, and wordplay-driven lyrics with weird couplets that rhyme things like “endorphin” with “fortune.” Thanks to director Sarah Alli for putting up with us!”
