Carbondale, IL-based Pop Punks band Bedspin has released a new single and accompanying music video for “Under Your Thumb.” The song is the first single off the band’s upcoming sophomore LP, Liminal Spaces, which will be released on April 21st via Freeloader Records.

While the song is fun and energetic, the lyrics tackle the sadder topic of drinking away your youth. The video for “Under Your Thumb” is a lighthearted parody of That 70s Show. The band and friends cruises in their car at night and hangs out in the basement smoking circle, with groovy transitions in between. Scenes were filmed in the infamous 35+ year old Carbondale punk house called Lost Cross.
