Kendra Sheetz Late last year, New Jersey-based band Old Currents released the debut single off their upcoming album The Glory, The Defeat which is set to be released on April 22nd, 2022. Today, we’re premiering the band’s newest single and accompany music video for “No Signs of Life.”
The song is a mish-mash of diverse influences – including Punk, Ska, Folk, Hardcore, and more – which the band seamlessly blends into their brand of Rock. The down-to-earth lyrics for this one are the cherry on top. The track depicts the heaviness of setting off into an unfamiliar world. They transformed a personal story into a relatable track about an inevitable feeling that we all experience in our own ways.
