Kendra Sheetz Los Angeles-based punk band Sweet Gloom has announced the release of their sophomore album, entitled No Love Lost, which will release on August 21th via Sneak Dog Records. The new album was recorded at District Recording in San Jose, CA and produced by Ryan Perras.
Sweet Gloom has released a brand new single, “Box Dye,” an accompanying music video. “Box Dye” is a lovesick punk song about dreaming of someone you know you shouldn’t want, then waking up still unable to shake the feeling. The track introduces listeners to the rougher, more blown-out side of Sweet Gloom, with frontman Jaake Margo’s old-school crooner vocals cutting through fuzzed-out guitars and sweet harmonies.
