All Time Low, Mayday Parade, The Cab, & Paradox in Madison, Wi

A captivating night with music from All Time Low, Mayday Parade, The Cab, and The Paradox

Covering this concert felt special from the start, as I have been a big fan of two of the four bands playing for years. I arrived at the venue with that familiar rush of nerves and excitement, knowing I was getting the chance to document a show that already meant so much to me.

The Paradox started off the night! I hadn’t heard of them before but a fan at the barricade had told me that at just two months in the band had been co-signed by Jack White, Lil Nas X, and Travis Barker so I knew we were in for a treat. Their music immediately drew in the crowd as I heard them all singing along behind me; it was a great way to begin the show.

The Cab was up next. I had heard so many good things about these guys, I was highly anticipating their set. Starting it off with the song “One of THOSE Nights,” I was already drawn in. The energy in the room was unmatched. The band seemed to have a great connection with the crowd, it really showed. I also really loved the costumes they had come up with for the show.

Mayday Parade followed and as they stepped on stage there was this wave of nostalgia hit me instantly. I’m not too versed in their newer stuff, but know a lot from their first albums. They started playing “Jersey” and I found myself mouthing every word as I was taking pictures, my sister and I have listened to that one a lot over the years. They were very interactive with the fans and photographers, it was so cool getting to see the crowd come to life as the set went on.

Then it was time for the main event, All Time Low. They entered with such enthusiasm and the crowd erupted with cheers. Being in the pit throughout all of this was so surreal as I’ve been a fan since elementary school, it was a full circle moment for sure. Their high energy carried out through the entire show and it was such a good show to experience.

Overall the night was so good, check out my photos below:
