Puscifer & Dave Hill in Madison, WI

" we understand "

Walking up to the venue the energy hit before the doors even opened. Fans were already gathered on the sidewalk, talking, laughing, and sharing their anticipation for the show. Everyone seemed on the same wavelength, just excited to be there and ready for whatever the night was going to bring.

The night kicked off with Dave Hill, who came out with a chaotic, hilarious presence that immediately pulled the crowd (and me) in. His set mixed stand-up, crowd banter, and unexpectedly impressive guitar work, keeping things unpredictable in the best way. It established a playful tone for the evening, one that didn’t take itself too seriously but still showcased real skill. As an opener, it was unconventional, but it matched the overall energy of the show perfectly.

When Puscifer took the stage, the entire mood shifted into something more immersive. The band delivered a tight, layered performance that moved between moody rock and electronic textures. What really stood out was how cool and controlled their stage presence was. Nothing felt rushed or overdone. Instead, the artists carried themselves with a quiet confidence that made the entire set feel cohesive and intentional. Maynard James Keenan and Carina Round also had great stage interactions throughout, trading vocals and playing off each other in a way that added extra depth and energy to the performance. Vocals, instrumentation, and visuals all worked together seamlessly, each piece fitting into the larger experience.

Overall, it was such a good show and surreal getting to capture the moments throughout, check out my photos below:
