Dave Brown Hailing from Boston, MA, the Dropkick Murphys started as a four-piece Punk band in 1996 that mixed elements of Oi, Hardcore, and 77-style Punk with a dash of Celtic music for good measure and have evolved into an eight-piece Celtic Punk monolith. The band is set to release its 12th studio album in May 2023.
