Mat Stokes This year, for Riot Fest, we decided that we wanted to do something a little different when it came to interviews. Sure we could grab a seat in the Press Tent, brush shoulders with some of the biggest names in music, and ask them who they can’t wait to see at the festival in the upcoming days. But that’s been done year after year.
So instead, we decided to bring back a game from our youths that everyone loves. You know the one that you always played on long car rides. We bring you BAD LIBS @ Riot Fest 2018 (See what we did there? Eh? Eh?)!
Where would we be without the Riot Fest bartenders? Sober and sad, that’s where. Chel Boren is not only an upper echelon human, she’s the best at what she does. She’s sweet, sassy, and a bit Springsteen-y all wrapped into one dynamo package. If that’s not enough, she’s the voice behind Chicago’s Third Twin Sister. She also spent the entire weekend feeding us Strongbows. We love Chel and you should too!
