Bad Copy’s infamous BAD LIBS are back to help Riot Fest celebrate another year of reunions, releases, and rain! Our Bad Copy team spent the music-packed mud-filled weekend running (walking carefully and sloppily) rampant all over Douglass Park in Chicago watching bands and then sprinting back to the Press Area for round after round of one of our favorite nostalgic games!
Sincere Engineer is one of those Chicago bands that feels like they belong at Riot Fest in the most natural way possible. Deanna Belos and crew bring a perfect mix of scrappy punk energy, big feelings, catchy-as-hell hooks, and just enough “everything is fine” chaos to make you want to scream along. We caught up with Deanna on the second day of the festival for a round of Bad Libs, and naturally, things got silly and a little weird. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
