Kendra Sheetz We are BEYOND stoked to be premiering the second single from Grand Rapids, MI-based band Boob Sweat. “Kill the Animals” will be featured on the band’s upcoming album, Sorry! We’re Open, which will be released on November 24th via Bypolar Records. The new EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Rich Johnson at Cold War Studios.
The band had the following to say about the release of the new single:
“The second single is called ‘Kill The Animals.’ I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY THAT I DO NOT CONDONE THE KILLING OF ANIMALS. I was watching an episode of Big Mouth where the middle school boys were excusing their stereotypical, icky male behavior by saying, ‘Men are animals.’ It irked me enough to it write my longest song yet… lol.
I feel like we are in the process of making a crazy, fun, colorful collage, and this EP is just the first step where we are cutting out all of the pictures from our favorite magazines! I hope it gives everyone a quick taste of what is to come.”
