We are stoked to be premiering the second single from New Brunswick’s Feeny. The song, “Bookends,” is featured on the band’s upcoming album Between the Bookends which will be released on May 8th. The “happysad” New Jersey four-piece have been hard at work on their debut full-length album since the release of their 2016 EP, No Beauty in Routine.

Between the Bookends and the titular single offer an introspective examination of a relationship from the perspective of someone trying to move on. The album tells an overarching story, and “Bookends” effectively captures the moment when the reality of the protagonist’s situation sinks in and the anger starts to ebb and flow. Likewise, the music and vocals of “Bookends” rises and falls, culminating in quiet acceptance. Talk about relatable content.
