Kendra Sheetz Atlanta’s skate punk thrash metal band Forsaken Profits has released a brand new single entitled “Decayed.” The track serves as the initial taste of the band’s upcoming full-length album, which will be released on vinyl this April.
“Decayed” has the technical precision of the 80s thrash giants but with the raw, unpolished aggression of underground hardcore. It’s fast, it’s heavy, and it’s a bit of a sonic middle finger to the status quo. In addition to all of this, the song (and the new album) is a bit of a celebration for the band, as they are heading into their fourteenth year as a DIY band. No easy feat!
