On December 21st, Melbourne-based Punk/Indie musician Luke Seymoup will be releasing a two track single entitled Hand-Me-Downs. The album follows two additional releases this year – a solo ukulele EP, Uke Seymoup, and the five-track Ska Opera (Skapera?), Burnett Street.
Today, we’re stoked to be premiering the title track, which pays tribute to ghost stories of the Hume Highway that runs between Melbourne and Sydney and features Sydney-based songwriter Lisa De Angelis. “Hand-Me-Downs” was was recorded by Luke Seymoup in Melbourne and Sydney, mixed by Lachy Bruce (The Brothers Goon, Squid Fishing) in Adelaide, and mastered at The Blasting Room (Descendents, The Lemonheads, Rise Against) in Fort Collins, Colorado.
