Kendra Sheetz Since last last year, we’ve slowly been teasing out news about Milwaukee’s Mertles Acres. At first it was a few show dates, then their first single, then a second. And now, we’re bringing you a full stream of their brand new debut full-length which is officially out today!
The Midwestern duo consists of Danny Walkowiak and Steve Maury (both formerly longstanding members of Direct Hit!). Danny holds down the beat on drums while Steve absolutely slays on guitar. In fact, each instrument on the new record (save for the drums) was recorded by Steve himself.
