Today, we’re premiering a new single from Italy’s Proton Packs. The band will be releasing their new album, Visions from the Void, tomorrow via Mom’s Basement Records. Just before the album’s release, they snuck in one final single entitled “I Didn’t Get The Memo.”
Visions from the Void is the fifth full-length installment in the quartet which was founded back in 2004 in Tuscany. The album features twelve lethal tunes which will guide you like Virgil through a maze of mind trips, hallucinations, dreams, nightmares and prophecies, following the band’s now long tradition of theme albums.
The band shared the following about the new single:
“This is a surprise single we decided to give to all our Ecto-Punk fans while we wait for the official release date! This one’s called “I Didn’t Get The Memo” and it’s special because Canada’s pride Skottie (from the Creeps, Visitors and many more bands) was gracious enough to sing on it! We think his talent elevated the song to a completely different level!”
Stream the new single “I Didn’t Get the Memo” below and keep checking back for more from Proton Packs. They’re going to be touring all over Italy and Europe in 2026 and 2027 to support the new release!
