Kendra Sheetz New York City-based band Shower Beers has released a brand new single, “Static City, USA.” The band, which formed back in 2022, is fresh off their latest release, a sophomore EP entitled Miracle on 34th & 3rd. That EP was produced by Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship) and features exciting and eclectic artists including Sydney-based SoSo, Atlanta-based glimmers, Boston-based We Demand Parachutes, and Orlando-based Outatime.
Shower Beers vocalist and guitarist Sean DeKay shared the following about the new single:
“‘Static City, USA’ is a new sound for the band and a brief detour from our party anthems. It’s a rally against the corporate slog. Plus, there’s a Midwest emo bridge where we pretend to be musicians.”
