He’s baaaack! After a brief – yet felt like forever – hiatus, The Eradicator has released new music. Today, the king of squash has released the first single from an upcoming 8-track EP, entitled You Can Hate The Eradicator, which will be released on September 12 via Stonewalled.
For those not in the know, The Eradicator is a musical artist and band based on the protagonist of the Kids in the Hall squash-themed sketch of the same name. You Can Hate The Eradicator was recorded in Tampa, FL at Candor Recording with engineer Ryan Boesch (Whores., Norma Jean, Andrew W.K.) and features a new backing band with members scattered across Gainesville, FL, Tampa, FL, and Chicago, IL. Clocking in at under 20 minutes, the album traverses through subjects of empowerment, a newfound hatred of golf, a constant battle against father time, and bad body odor.
New debut single off the upcoming album is called “You Can Hate The Eradicator, But Don’t Hate The Game.” Stream that below and pre-order your copy of the new EP too! For all your vinyl fans, there’s going to be a release of 300 single sided 12″ albums, so order them quick!
