Today, we’re bringing you a brand new song from William H. Michael. The song, entitled “Breaking Point,” will be featured on the upcoming album Jazz Destroyer which will be released tomorrow via Big Neck Records.
The Cleveland, OH-based musician since the mid 1990s. Starting in his first band, Al & the Coholics and playing with groups such as MK Ultras, rubella, and Forgotten Souls of Antiquity along with numerous gospel and country bands, Michael has quietly amassed 30+ years of experience under his belt while never once slowing down. Known for his songwriting as much as his other endeavors, BillMike has had a hand in producing, designing, and releasing some 20 or so albums under the moniker of Eleventh Hour Recording Company, which has worked with groups and artists such as longtime collaborator Bill Fox and Jaguar 777.
Michael shared the following about the new song:
“‘Breaking Point’ is based on someone I knew whose story involved facing a lot of adversity in life. She had been a pool hustler and, amongst many other stories, was stabbed when a game went sideways and climbed her way back from the bottom. I think it’s important that no matter how low you find yourself to never lose that light we all have inside of ourselves.”
