Kendra Sheetz Oakland, CA’s fuzz rock band Cut-Rate Druggist has released their second single off their new album. The driving rock song is titled “Snakes” and is about the unfortunate realization that sometimes the people that you surround yourself with end up wrapping themselves around you, and not in a good way.
The band’s new album, Blistering, was engineered by some of the best rockers on the West Coast (Josh Garcia, Craig Billmeier, Bart Thurber & Jack Endino). The album contains straight ahead punk and roll songs about loss, wrong doing and redemption, with a little violin thrown in for good measure. Blistering will be released April 7th via DCxPC Live Records and the band will be embarking on a tour of Japan soon after.
