Chicago’s Torch the Hive has released a brand new video for their single “Burn Me Out.” The video was created with the help of Kaiber.AI and local photographers around the Chicagoland area who took photos of the band over the past year.
Guitarist/Vocalist Mike Fruel had the following to say about the release:
“I’ve always wanted to craft a narrative through a music video, and using AI generated animation was a viable choice for us. The story takes place within a dystopian cyberpunk setting mirroring issues within our own society. The politicians and CEOs are running the show and causing tension in the city while the musicians are planning an uprising. Every shot of a band in this video is originally a seed image of our band playing live, which is then generated through Kaiber.AI using prompts to give the scene a specific animation/art style. If any of you have seen the movie ‘Akira,’ that was a big inspiration behind the concept of this vid.”
