Kendra Sheetz Last month, Blue Island Beer Company hosted the longest running beer can festival, Beer Can’d Fest! This year’s roster once again featured a handful of Chicago area’s best Punk and Ska bands including James the Boneless, Everything We’re Not, Tall Doug, No Dead Heroes, Run & Punch, The Repellents, Death & Memphis, Capgun Heroes, Take the Reins, Fear City, and The Crombies. The drinks were plentiful, there was a taco vendor serving up amazing food in the parking lot, and the crowd had an epic time all day.
