Cold Cave, Black Marble, & Choir Boy in Chicago, IL

Music that makes me happy, I wear black everyday.

Dark wave synth pop is one of my all time favorite genres of music ever. I was shaking in my shoes in excitement to catch a heavy dose of it at Thalia Hall in the Pilsen Neighborhood of Chicago, IL on June 8th with one of my personal favorites, Cold Cave.

Cold Cave was invented from hardcore punk veteran, Wes Eisold from American Nightmare, Some Girls, & XO Skeletons. He runs a publishing house called Heartworm Press that just recently put out Cold Cave’s latest EP, You & Me & Infinity. You can purchase it here.

Supporting Cold Cave on this tour is Black Marble, a catchy minimal synth post punk duo from Brooklyn, NY and Choir Boy, a very sweet melodic dream pop group from Salt Lake City, Utah.
