Think back to a simpler time. The year is 2002. A new crime drama series called The Wire premiered on HBO. The band Creed was still considered popular. And Pop-Punk band Audio Karate released their album entitled Space Camp via Kung Fu Records.
Flash forward to now. A (morally) bankrupt billionaire is president. It’s been 10 years since the last episode of The Wire aired. Creed who? But, it has just beenĀ announced that Wiretap Records and Hidden Home Records in conjunction with Kung Fu will be reissuing Space Camp on 12″ vinyl!
The reissue comes on the heels of the album turning 15 years old last year. The pressing is limited to 250 copies on Electric Blue with plans to ship in early July. You can pre-order your copy now from either Wiretap Records or Hidden Home Records.
Watch Audio Karate talk about the band’s history and the recording of Space Camp now!
