Kendra Sheetz Dirtnap Records hasn’t released a 7” in a few years, but Patsy’s Rats has broken their dry streak! Patsy’s Rats is a Portland based power pop band featuring of Patsy Gelb and Christian Blunda (aka Billy Jeans from Mean Jeans). Rounding out the lineup is a revolving door of rhythm sections that are comprised of a who’s-who of local bassists and drummers.
The band’s new EP, entitled Roundin’ Up, will be released via Dirtnap on August 11th. The album consists of two note-perfect guitar-pop tracks. Side A features Patsy taking the vocal lead, whereas Side B features a sweet duet. Roundin’ Up features the rhythm section stylings of Steve and Jon from Mope Grooves.
