Kendra Sheetz The 5th annual Seattle Pop Punk Festival will be taking place this month! The three day festival will run from January 18th through the 20th and will be begin at 8PM Thursday Slim’s Last Chance Saloon in Seattle, WA. The festival is out on annually by Ean Hernandez (Sicko, The Subjunctives, Top Drawer Records, Tales from the Birdbath, Date Night with Brian, etc.) as a way to showcase the great pop punk bands in the city.
This year’s lineup features heavy hitters The Copyrights, recently reformed 2000s indie punkers Dirt Bike Annie, and recently reformed 1990s Reno pop punkers Zoinks! Tickets are on sale through Top Drawer Records. Check out the nightly lineup below:
January 18th: Ol’ Doris, Goodbye Viking, Jet//Lag, Red Reaction
January 19th: Dead Bars, The Copyrights, Broadway Calls, Zoinks!, Trash Sound Conglomerate
January 20th: Burn Burn Burn, Dirt Bike Annie, The Subjunctives, Night Court, Rat Paws
This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Top Drawer Records 13 Soda Punx pop punk Compilation CD/LP, which spawned the original doomed 1994 Seattle Pop Punk Festival. To mark the event, the record has been repressed on CD and Colored Vinyl. The record is on sale through the Top Drawer site and will also be available for sale at the festival.
