Wiretap Records founder Rob Castellon recently announced the launch of a new imprint of Wiretap called My Grito. The label will focus on Latin artists.
Rob has said about the new label that it will “dedicate efforts to raising the voice of people of color, and in our case, Hispanic-Americans… [Latin] culture is immersed in American music…. [and] contributions of Latinos live within music and arts culture. We’re excited to add to the rich contributions of Latinos in music, art, comedy, and more by extending My Grito into the world.”
The first band signed to the imprint label is Orange County’s 3LH. The band is scheduled to release their debut LP with My Grito in the spring of 2021.
