Kendra Sheetz Today, Chicago’s 8-bit crEEps has released the second single off their upcoming album, Dress For the Future. The song, entitled “Madness,” remembers a summer of reckoning after an act of inhumanity. It’s about the palpable sadness, anger, and uncertainty in the air after we all watched live footage of a man being murdered on the 10 o’clock news back in the spring of 2020.
The single is available now for download via Bandcamp for the band’s third annual Juneteenth fundraiser, where they donate 100% of their share from sales to the NAACP legal defense fund.
