Kendra Sheetz DIY Folk punk singer Black Guy Fawkes (aka Ian Robinson) has released a new single off his fifth and upcoming album, The Misery Suite. The new album will be releases on September 19th via Asbestos Records in the US, Le Noise in Canada, and Bomber music in the U.K.
The new single is titled “This Radio” and features an assist from Dave Hause. Robinson shared the following about the new track:
“This is the song about something that I truly and utterly believe. Music has to power of saving lives and helping you find community. If it wasn’t for punk rock, I would be dead right now and I wouldn’t have the community I have today.
One song, one record, or one artist can save and change your life. And on this song, I got to work with an artist who has changed my life, Dave Hause. I discovered Dave during my early 20s and have been a massive fan since. He and that revival tour scene really molded the way I write music. To work with him on this track was an absolute honor and a full circle moment for me. I’m really fucking thankful to have worked with him.”
