Kendra Sheetz Today, we are so very exciting to be bringing to you a brand new EP from Sacramento’s Lightweight. The three track album will officially be self-released by the band this Friday, September 2nd and serves as the follow up to their March release, a five song album entitled This One’s On Me.
The West Coast band had the following to say about their new album:
“Life is easier when things fall into place but it’s not all that band when they don’t. Maybe that song you wrote three years ago didn’t feel right at the time but for some reason, it really resonates with you today. ‘You Have To Promise’ is us saying ‘it doesn’t have to be today but it needs to happen some day and if we hold on long enough we know it will.’”
Lightweight will also be heading out on tour on their way down to the Fest in Gainesville, FL later this Fall. Keep checking back for those tour dates!
