Baby Got Back Talk Releases Visualizer for “Season Premiere”

Brooklyn-based Pop Punk band Baby Got Back Talk has released a visualizer for their track “Season Premiere.” The song appears on their Wiretap Records debut Existential Shred. The visualizer was created by Mike Grover.

Vocalist-bassist G’Ra Asim had the following to say about the unlikely genesis of “Season Premiere”:

“For some reason I follow a bot of the writer Anne Carson on Twitter. One time the bot tweeted: ‘It was Homer who suggested we stand in time with our backs to the future, face to the past.’ That sentiment felt especially canny at the onset of the pandemic, when we all sensed life as we knew it had been irrevocably changed, but we weren’t exactly sure what the world might be like on the other side of that change. We turned the tweet into a pre-chorus, and built the rest of the song from there. Apparently bots are punk and so is Anne Carson.”
