Backdrop Falls Releases New Single “Choose to Fight”

Brazil’s Backdrop Falls recently released their latest single, “Choose to Fight”, now available on all digital platforms, along with an accompanying music video. The track dives into themes of resilience and self-discovery, exploring the journey of those who refuse to stand still and embrace every step — even mistakes — as part of the path.

With nearly 10 years of history, Backdrop Falls has shown consistent growth, delivering a sound with the right amount of weight while preserving its identity. Originating from Fortaleza, outside Brazil’s traditional southeastern music hub, the band is a clear example of the diversity and quality of music thriving across the country. Their compositions are filled with genuine emotions — one of the quartet’s strongest trademarks, led by vocalist and guitarist Matheus Collyer.

Collyer shared the following about the new single:

“With ‘Choose to Fight,’ we want people to feel the same energy we put into every note. It’s a song about moving forward, about not being afraid to make mistakes and fighting for what truly matters. If you like good music made by real people with lots of energy, you need to listen to this band. And when you hear that talk about rock being dead, or that there aren’t any new bands making good music, show them this band!”
