Backdrop Falls Releases Video for “Big Lie” Inspired by 90s MTV

Backdrop Falls has released a new music video for their song “Big Lie” off the band’s debut album, There’s No Such Place As Home. The album was released in 2019 via Electric Funeral Records and distributed in a dozen countries. Backdrop Falls is currently in the pre-production process for their next unreleased album, which should be out sometime this year.

The video, directed by drummer Roger Capone, was inspired by the aesthetics of recurring clips from old 1990s and 2000s MTV in Brazil and of the station itself, alternating live performance takes with acting scenes and showing this time a comic vein of band.
